Membership Guidelines

Qualified Radiologists
  • An undertaking / declaration by the members that a component of their daily practice contributes to this speciality, with about 10 hours a week, dedicated to Gynaecologic imaging irrespective of modalities such as Ultrasonography, CT, MRI pelvis or gynaecologic interventions.
  • Membership will be offered to people having two referees from existing members of the society. The referees would select an appropriate choice from the two options :
    • I do not know him/her personally, but have enquired upon.
    • I personally know him/her
Note : ( The first round of members ( initial 100 members ) can be ‘By Invitation’, by the founder members ).
Radiology Residents ( will be alloted provisional life member )
  • Membership will be offered to people having two referees from existing members of the society. The referees would select an appropriate choice from the two options :
    • I do not know him/her personally, but have enquired upon.
    • ii. I personally know him/her
Note : Residents can apply for Life membership after completing post graduation and fulfilling above clause ”a” of qualified radiolgists as desribed above.
Non Indian Passport Holders / International members

Non Indian Passport holder Radiologists, cannot be an Executive Member due to Signatory issues that may arise for Office bearers. They will have no voting right .However the other facilties will be applicalble as a life member(eg – reduced rates in conferences etc)

Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership may be offered to national / International prominent radiologists not practicing gynecological imaging and that they do not have the right to exercise votes.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership - non-radiology specialities are not allowed to be members of any kind in SOGII.

Membership Fee
  • Membership fees of Rs. 5000 only for the first 100 members following which rates shall be revised
  • SAARC countries will be defined. Membership will be offered to SAARC countries, at a rate equivalent to Indian Membership fees.
  • Radiology residents fee of Rs. 3000 with a provisional life membership will be povided.After completion of postgraduation and fulfiiling Clause ‘a’ of qualified radiologist they will be provided Life mebership with an additional fee of Rs. 2000/- or the revised fee structure.
  • International Membership : 100 US Dollars.
  • No fee will be charged for Honorary membership
  • ALL members are entitled for reduced rates in SOGII CME
